Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about streaming 24/7 with streamrunnr.
No. streamrunnr runs your stream on hosted infrastructure, independently of your computer. You can close your laptop or turn off your PC while the service keeps your configured stream running.
YouTube, Twitch, and any RTMP destination. If a platform accepts an RTMP stream key, streamrunnr can push to it — that covers most major platforms and custom media servers.
MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, and M4V. Once you upload a file, streamrunnr automatically converts it into a clean, stream-ready format — so there's nothing technical for you to set up.
Yes. Depending on your plan, you can run 1 (Starter), 3 (Pro), or 5 (Business) simultaneous streams — each to a different platform or destination if you like.
Yes. You can cancel at any time from your billing page. An ordinary cancellation normally ends the subscription at the end of the current paid month, and there is no further monthly charge.
Your library is kept for 30 days after your plan ends. Resubscribe within that window and everything is still there — nothing to re-upload. After 30 days, your videos are permanently deleted.
Cancellation stops future monthly charges but does not automatically refund the current paid month. Refunds remain available where mandatory law, a valid statutory withdrawal, defect rights, an unauthorized or duplicate charge, or Paddle's decision requires one. You'll find the full details in our Refund Policy. Consumers can review the statutory withdrawal information in our Terms of Service and submit a withdrawal through our online withdrawal form.
You get 100 GB on Starter, 250 GB on Pro, or 400 GB on Business.
From 1080p up to 4K, at 30 or 60 fps. You choose your quality when you pick a plan — every tier can go all the way up to 4K at 60 fps.
Bandwidth. Your stream runs around the clock, and higher quality means more data every second of it: 60 fps pushes up to twice the data of 30 fps, and 4K several times more than 1080p — a 4K stream at 60 fps moves roughly six times as much data as 1080p at 30. Our pricing simply follows that: you pick your quality, and you only pay for what you actually stream in.
Yes. Enable loop on any playlist and streamrunnr cycles through your videos repeatedly until you stop the stream or change its configuration.
Yes. Set a date and time, and streamrunnr starts your stream on its own — even while you're offline. Scheduling is included on every plan.
streamrunnr monitors your stream continuously and automatically attempts to reconnect and resume if a connection issue occurs. If it can't recover on its own, it sends an alert so you can step in if needed.
You need the rights to everything you stream — either you created it yourself, or you have the rights or a license to use it.
Yes. The platform you stream to — YouTube, Twitch, or another — has its own rules, and your stream needs to follow them alongside ours. It's a good idea to check their guidelines before you go live.
You can stream any content you have the rights to, as long as it follows our guidelines. You'll find the full details of what's allowed in our Terms of Service.
Stream keys are encrypted at rest. Once saved, they are never shown in plain text again — not in the UI, not in logs. You can update or remove them at any time from your stream settings.
